The December March Safari Migration
Day 1 – Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer to Karatu village
After your arrival at Kilimanjaro’s airport there will be @Tanzania guide waiting for you to take you to Karatu where you will be able to rest in Hotel. On the way we can stop at Mto wa Mbu village for a short walk. On the way to safari migration exploration.
Day 2 – Karatu – Ndutu
We immediately start our trip after breakfast to cross the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in direction of Ndutu area, where between December and February / March we’ll able to see the Great Migration herds ( Safari Migration ). It’s an unique show, literally, that shows as the animals follows the rains during a long and dangerous trip, to survive the drought.
Day 3 – Ndutu
Today we will spend the day to observe the animals of Nduto area, so be ready with your cameras ’cause it will be a funny day for your Safari migration experience!
Day 4 and 5 – Serengeti National Park
Finished the visit of Nduto area we will be directed there toward the Serengeti National Park where we will spend two days to explore it. The Serengeti NP is the most famous park in Tanzania, known in all over the world for his boundless lowlands, the migration of the wildebeests, the pride of lions and the other raiders as hyenas, cheetahs, leopards, jackals and crocodiles. The ‘Serengeti’ words means “Endless Plain”. Really: the name couldn’t be more appropriate.
Day 6 – From Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Today we’ll cross for the last time the Serengeti Park to go towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This is of one of the most suggestive landscapes to the world, where we can admire the dormant volcano and the nature that surrounds it. In the park it will be possible to see the “Big Five”: elephants, buffalos, lions, leopards and rhinos, but you you should pay attention that, around that area, there are like 30.000 animals and a great variety of birds-species.
Day 7 – Ngorongoro crater
Before breakfast or immediately after breakfast, in the early morning, we will proceed to the Ngorongoro crater for the photo-safari.The crater is of one of the most suggestive landscapes to the world, where we can admire the dormant volcano and the nature that surrounds it. In the park it will be possible to see the “Big Five”: elephants, buffalos, lions, leopards and rhinos, but you you should pay attention that, around that area, there are like 30.000 animals and a great variety of birds-species.
Day 8 – Arusha-Kilimanjaro Airport
After having spent a week to admire the suggestive Great Migration, is arrived the moment to come back to home, but before that you could spend some time to visit Arusha for shopping in the local shops.
